I LOVE Yasmine! And it was awesome to get a glimpse into the lives of the men and read their stories! If you have read or are reading the Otherworld series this book is a must! Can't wait until she does the others.
Really enjoyed the storyline. Grabs you from the first page. Great characters, humor and just enough romance to keep the fires burning.
A good start to what will be a great collection. It's always nice to see the reasons and events behind some of what goes on in the books, and this is a great way to see into the depths of the characters we know and love.
Having read Yasmine's previous Otherworld books, I really enjoyed the insight I gained through these stories into her male characters. It's info you don't NEED to know but is fun to know.
I enjoyed each of the storylines. This story's fill in some of the missing pieces in the main series and brings new questions to the forefront.
I have read every book in the Otherworld Series which has three main female characters, this one is a short story collection that tells more of the back stories of the supporting men. It is a really good read for fans of the series.
I always enjoy reading about otherworld. Some of the stories seem to get redundant, and it seems hard on her writing to try to write her present characters as younger ones sometimes. But sometimes it goes really well. Some of it is cliché, and some of it seems like an obvious attempt to try to push norms sometimes. Or it's obvious Full House style feel good stuff. It's harder to find many original ideas as time goes on.
I really liked it, and even ended up dreaming about it!
